Madhuyashti Tailam is a classical Ayurvedic oil made from three ingredients: Yashtimadhu (licorice), sesame oil and milk.
Yashtimadhu is known for its sweet, cooling qualities that soothe the skin and balance Pitta, especially for dry or sensitive skin. Sesame oil acts as the base, balancing Vata and helping absorb the herb's properties, while milk adds a nourishing, cooling effect.
The three are combined through Sneha Paka (a traditional oil-processing method) to create a medicated oil used for external skin nourishment, under physician guidance.

These variations do not necessarily indicate deterioration, provided the oil remains within approved quality parameters.As the formulation contains a milk-processing stage, proper removal of residual moisture is essential for microbial safety and storage stability.
